Several CHS Welding students competed in a high school level SMAW 3G Open Root Plate Test. Angel Gomez(8th place) & Karmella Lawrence (13th) passed the welding test & received their industry certification. Stonewall Shurette & Jeremy Miller competed in a post secondary competition that is an SMAW 6G Pipe Test. Stonewall placed 3rd & Jeremy placed 4th. These certifications will allow them to follow their professional careers in welding. We are so proud of them! It's a great day to be a Raider!

These outstanding four students took the Patient Care Technician Certification test and all 4 passed. They are now Certified Patient Care Technicians. They can work in a hospital as a Patient Care Technician assisting the nursing staff. In the picture from l to r: Era Gallaher, Regina Carreon-Velarde, Sarah Pritchard, and Stevi Barnes. The certification is offered in our Clinical Internship class. Way to go!
