Mrs. Armstrong and the CHS Cosmetology students truly outdid themselves! Their โspa day,โ where students showcased their talents with hair, nails, and more, left teachers glowing with appreciation and joy.

CHS Track is running to..... the State Championships!
Cleveland High School track and field athletes had a fantastic showing at the TSSAA Section 2 Meet on May 6, 2025, earning spots in the State Championships! The top four athletes in each event qualify for the state meet, and several from Cleveland made the cut.
Boys Making the Cut:
โขย ย Owen Clemons won the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 4:12.67, taking 1st place.
โขย ย Sawyer Boyd impressed in the hurdles, finishing 2nd in the 110 Meter Hurdles (14.55) and 3rd in the 300 Meter Hurdles (39.74). He also helped the 4x200 Meter Relay Team to a 3rd-place finish.
โขย ย Noah Dycus ran a strong 3200 Meter Run, placing 2nd with a time of 9:53.52.
โขย ย Cole Rodgers also qualified in the 3200 Meter Run, finishing 3rd at 9:55.48.
โขย ย Elisha Langford secured 3rd in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 4:36.44.
โขย ย The 4x100 Meter Relay Team, made up of James Eledge, Emilo Greene, and Isaiah Davis, took 2nd place with a time of 42.80.
โขย ย The 4x200 Meter Relay Team, made up of Sawyer Boyd, Dennison Fisher, James Eledge, and Isaiah Davis, finished 3rd with a time of 1:29.26.
Girls Heading to State:
โขย ย Lucy Hearn dominated the 800 Meter Run with a 1st place finish at 2:21.91 and took 4th in the 1600 Meter Run (5:26.63).
โขย ย Annie Hill leaped to 2nd place in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 47.52.
โขย ย Charice Ryan earned spots in two events, finishing 4th in the 100 Meter Dash (12.71) and 4th in the 200 Meter Dash (25.89).
These talented athletes will represent Cleveland High School at the TSSAA State T&F Championship Div. 1 AAA and Unified on May 22, 2025, at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. Letโs cheer them on as they compete for state titles!

Yearbooks will be distributed Thursday during all four lunches in the dining hall! There will be a VERY limited number of extras available for $100. Donโt miss out! Youโre going to love this book!


The Leadership 2 class Teacher Appreciation Lunch was a success. Those students worked tirelessly to secure donations from businesses, raise money by having a car wash, and organizing help from the community and CHS parents. It was a spread!

These 6 students were rewarded BIG time for their check-ins at athletic events using the Cleveland Athletics app. New 65 inch TV, class rings, Olive Garden, Nike gear, shoes, and free Hardee's lit up their faces. Thank you for helping boost our CHS school spirit!

CHS is searching for 3-4 individuals to represent CHS as the new mascot. Rowdy Raider will attend sporting and community events, support Cheer and Dance on the sidelines, and display school spirit. This is a very time consuming responsibility and will require much time outside of the school day. Candidates selected to be a member of the spirit squad are expected to make a commitment to the activity for the full year. Attendance is mandatory at all spirit events/activities. Mascots who complete the requirements will receive a $500 scholarship and a PE credit.
What: Mascot Tryout clinic - tryout material will be taught
when: Tuesday, May 13th- Thursday, May 15th, 2025
where: CHS Arena
time: 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Doors will close at 3:10 p.m.
attire: BLACK Athletic shorts or leggings, a WHITE t-shirt and tennis shoes are acceptable for the clinic. ๏ปฟ


Today is a favorite day for all of our schools. Our graduates walk the halls of CMS and elementary schools after getting together for an academic signing celebration. More pictures are added to the FaceBook page.

What a night for CHS! What a night for Music Education! And what a night for Instrumental Music!
The CHS Band presented their Spring Concert tonight and were joined by Tennessee Music Education Association President, Joel Denton. President Denton presented the band with the ASBDA Award of Distinction and the Tennessee Bandmasters Association Sweepstakes Award! The band members played a wide variety of music ranging from the Baroque Period all the way up to last yearโs hit movie, Wicked! Congrats to Mr. Burton, Mr. Simpson, and all the Blue Raider Band Members on a job well done! Go band and Go Raiders!!
