Freaky Friday

Cleveland High School is thrilled to present Freaky Friday the Musical.  It has been 3 years since the last musical due to COVID restrictions so it is with great excitement to bring a musical back to the CHS stage.  This new musical, Freaky Friday, based on the beloved 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films features a book by Bridget Carpenter - the co-executive producer and writer on the beloved TV hits, "Friday Night Lights" and "Parenthood" - and music and lyrics by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey - the Pulitzer Prize-winning composers of Next to Normal and If/Then. Freaky Friday has been made into four feature films by Walt Disney Studios.  The first Freaky Friday movie debuted in 1976. Freaky Friday has had three different remakes: a made-for-television film in 1995 starring Shelley Long and Gaby Hoffmann, a live-action theatrical release in 2003 starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, and a 2018 musical version for television starring Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff.  Cast & crew includes Daisy McPheron, Avery Cavitt, Ashur Gluckner, Anthony Gonzalez, Maverick Dasher, Kalani Estrada, Ava Davis, Caleigh Langford, Jairus Pettaway, Johnny Lagase, Evie Mazzolini, Ellie Christmann, Caelie Porter, Alanah Davis, Isaac Klepper, Aniyah Purifory, Maria Mitchell, Miller Robinson, Terrah Shafer, Kennin Featherngill, Rilla Metzger, Josiah Creel, Tony Griffey, Lily Goss, Daniel Medina, Jake Pelley, Samantha Saez, Addison Abbott, Isabella Chapman, and Joey Banh.
