Homecoming Week Set for September 18 - September 23

Spirit week, dress up days, penny wars, a student dance, and a hyped up football game are just a few things that the Blue Raider student body will enjoy during the annual Homecoming Week on Raider Drive! The (4-1) Blue Raider Football Team has found their rhythm, coming off a HUGE win over Knoxville power house, Farragut High School and a landslide victory over Rhea County. The Raiders will head into Homecoming week where they face a 3-1 Red Bank Lion team out of Hamilton County. The Lions are coming off a big 42-7 win over Signal Mountain. Cleveland High would like to send out a special invite to all Alumni on Friday 9/22 at 7:00pm. Come out and cheer with Blue Raider Nation as we continue this Coach Tygard led journey through the 2023 season.
Below are some highlights about what our students, staff, and the community can expect during Homecoming Week! Theme: "You Said You Would Win. Stop Lion!!"
Spirit Dress Up Days
Monday - Adam Sandler Day - (No pajama pants allowed)
Tuesday - Anything But a Backpack - carry your things in anything but a backpack that day
Wednesday - Ages Day - (9th) dress as babies, (10th) dress as middle schoolers, (11th) dress as middle aged people, (12th) dress as senior citizens. Teachers can dress as any age
Thursday - Rhyme Without a Reason - This is where you twin with someone, and it rhymes... but it has no purpose. For example, one person may be Hannah Montana, and the other is a banana. Or, Tinker Bell and Taco Bell.
Friday - Blue Spirit Day - Come dressed in your finest Raider gear with the emphasis on BLUE!!
**RISE Teachers, your attire during dress up days may be the points your RISE Class needs to win the RISE Competition. You better show up and show out!!
RISE Competitions
Monday - School Wide Trivia Game - Knowledge is power. Who is the smartest RISE Class?
Tuesday - School Wide Bingo Day - Yell BINGO! Win 50 points!!
Wednesday - Canned Food Collection Day - Be Kind!... it's in our Raider motto. Help the needy while earning points for your RISE Class.
Thursday - Spirit Stick Competition - Your creativity will go a long way in this. Which RISE Class can make the best Spirit Stick?
Friday - RISE Door Decorating Competition & Pep Rally - RISE Competition results will be announced! A RISE class will be rewarded with a GROWN MAN's Breakfast the following week!

Tickets in advance - $5 - Sold during all lunches (Tickets at the door are $7)
