Today is Essentials Teacher Day at Stuart! These extraordinary educators are the biggest cheerleaders in our school. We appreciate all the roles they take on in our building and the impact they have on our students and families! This TEAM is essential in the development of every student and we LOVE them!

We spent today affirming and showing appreciation to our Para-Professional Team. Students made signs and our teachers brought food- no better way to celebrate a selfless team of professionals that make Stuart a special place! Thank you all!

Leadworthy Family meetings today! Our Mentors shared their favorite childhood book with students and our older students read to our younger students! 🐾📚🐾 #ReadersAreLeaders

1st Grade just completed their Astronomy Unit. Students learned about phases of the moon, made constellations and in STEM they created a fun planet animation complete with the students voice as the planet! What a memorable way to learn!🪐🌌🌖

🏀Elementary students get in free this Friday night at Cleveland High School. The Blue Raiders will be playing cross town rival Walker Valley. Games start at 6pm.

All Aboard! Students in Mrs. McAlister's 3rd Grade Class showered our Kindergarteners and 1st Graders with a reader's theatre about the Polar Express! What a great way to kick off this Winter Break while connecting literacy and fun!

Last week we celebrated Special Education and Student Supports Recognition Day. Monday our school recognized the team with treats and notes of affirmation and appreciation. The final buzzer has sounded- the teachers once again are victorious vs. the 4/5th grade students! They competed hard but in the end the teachers just had the right stuff!! 💯🥶🤷🏻‍♀️🐾🦴

Congrats to Lindsey Laudermilk- Stuart's 2023 🏆TEACHER OF THE YEAR🏆! Ms. Laudermilk is a top notch educator and is loved by her students. We are so glad she is a part of our team! Ms. L, YOU are exactly what Stuart needs!! 🐾🐾🎈🐾🐾

Food Drive this week! Think about it...If every student and teacher at Stuart donated 5 canned items our school could provide 1,500 cans of food to those in need! What an impact we could make! Please consider donating this week!

November is Native American Heritage Month. Students are being exposed to Native American cultural in art class at Stuart! Our new art teacher, Mrs. Sara Cook, is EXACTLY what Stuart needs! ❤️🐶❤️
