Both the softball team and baseball team were out scored tonight. The JV baseball ended in a tie. On Tuesday softball is against Soddy, baseball will be at Walker, Soccer will host Bradley at the complex.

Tonight our girls softball team beat McMinn, both tennis team won over Ooltewah, and soccer tied in their game vs Signal Mountain. On Friday our softball team plays in Chattanooga and our track teams compete at Lee. No school on Friday so enjoy your day off from school!

Cleveland Blue Raider sophomore, Claire Krepps, annexed the The Tennessee Shoot Out Series State Championship in Olympic Recurve division. After a breathtaking razor edged one point victory in the finale at Siegel HS in Murfreesboro, March 6th 2021. Raucous applause erupted as she drove the final arrow dead center to secure the state championship buckle and the title "champion" of the Tennessee Shootout Series. Next stop- outdoor 3D.

We were thrilled to see so many fans in Raider Arena last night! Hamilton County has different COVID protocols in place. If you do not have a ticket or name on the list prior to the game, you will not be permitted into the game. This will apply for games at East Ham and Soddy.
Basketball Senior Night has been moved to Feb. 2 vs East Hamilton. We will be under our YELLOW Covid protocol and can host 950 family and Blue Raider fans. Friday night games are still under Governor Lee’s order where only family members on list are permitted into the Arena.

Cancellation of December 11 Basketball Games with Bradley Central High School Announcement The administration of Cleveland High School has had to make the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s basketball games with Bradley Central High School due to COVID-19 concerns. The decision to cancel tonight was made with the safety of our student athletes, coaches, parents, fans and community members in mind. Plans will be made to reschedule the games at a future date and tickets purchased for tonight’s game may be used for this rescheduled game.
Due to the increase in local COVID-19 cases, Cleveland High School athletics will immediately move into the RED phase of our COVID Protocol. All fans are required to enter Raider Arena or Jones Center from the lobby for temperature checks, masks are required to be worn at all times, and social distancing seating is expected. Thursday’s Boys Basketball Game vs Notre Dame will be played with a maximum of 500 people in the stands. Tickets have been reserved for families of players, cheerleaders and the dance squad. Raider Passes and TSSAA/TACA passes will be honored and General Admission tickets will be limited to 180. Cleveland City Employees will not be able to use their ID for admittance while we are in the RED protocol phase. Friday’s Boys Basketball Game vs Bradley will be played with limited capacity as well. CHS is limiting tickets to families with vouchers from their coach and Raider Passes. Tickets already purchased at CHS or the Town Squire will be honored. At this time all ticket sales have been suspended. Cleveland City Employees will not be able use their ID for admittance while we are in the RED protocol phase. The game will be streamed on the CHSLive YouTube Channel. Saturday’s Wrestling Duals has been cancelled. An update for the Friday night’s wrestling match vs Father Ryan will be shared soon.

The Cleveland City School Board voted to move to an at-home learning model for the week of December 14th-18th due to an increase in active COVID-19 cases in our county. We will continue this week with EOC exams in English I and II, Algebra I and II, and Geometry. Biology and US History will be taken after Christmas Break. There are about 40 tickets available for the basketball game at McMinn Co. Please bring $6 cash per ticket to the front window. Tickets can be purchased starting at 8:00 am Friday morning. No tickets can be bought at the gate.
